Shelling by Russian troops
During the day (from 7:00 to 7:00) the occupiers carried out 9 attacks on populated areas. They covered Kherson, Belozerka, Nikolskoye, Ochakov and Solonchaki with fire.
Six civilians were injured, including a child. More than a dozen high-rise buildings, about 30 private houses, two garages, four buildings of private enterprises, a gas pipeline and power lines were damaged.

In addition, the occupiers dropped four fragmentation munitions from a UAV onto the village of Antonovka (Kherson region). There are no casualties among the population.
Creation of a bridgehead in the Kherson region
On November 17, the Ukrainian Armed Forces Marine Corps confirmed that our defenders managed to gain a foothold on several bridgeheads on the left bank of the Dnieper River (Kherson direction). More than 1.2 thousand occupiers and several hundred units of Russian equipment were liquidated.
As noted by the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, one of the main goals of the operation is to push the invaders as far as possible from the right bank so that they do not fire at civilian settlements.
