On November 15, Ukrainian troops continued larger-than-usual operations on the eastern (left) bank of the Dnieper in the Kherson region.
This was reported by the Institute for the Study of War (ISW).
Russian military officers claimed that Ukrainian forces launched unsuccessful attacks from the center of Krynok (30 km northeast of Kherson, 2 km from the Dnieper River).

They also reported that the Ukrainian Armed Forces were attacking near Poima (11 km east of Kherson and 4 km from the Dnieper River) and Peschanivka (15 km east of Kherson and 3 km from the Dnieper River).
In addition, Russian milibloggers also claim that Russian troops prevented Ukrainian forces from evacuating the wounded and deploying additional Ukrainian personnel on the eastern bank near the Antonovsky automobile bridge.
The head of the joint press center of the Operational Command South, Natalya Gumenyuk, said that Ukrainian troops are pushing Russian forces back to a distance of three to eight kilometers from the eastern bank of the Dnieper in the Kherson region.
“The geographic scale of these described efforts is significantly greater than that evidenced by currently available evidence obtained from open sources,” Institute analysts point out.
ISW added that Russian troops made a recent confirmed advance into the Ukrainian-held area on the eastern bank of the Kherson region amid ongoing operations against Ukrainian positions on the eastern bank on November 15.
Geolocation footage released on November 14 shows that Russian troops have advanced towards Krynki.

Russian military correspondents write that Russian troops counterattacked and forced Ukrainian troops to retreat from some areas south of Krynki, near the Cossack Camps (23 km northeast of Kherson and 2 km from the Dnieper), as well as near the Antonovsky Bridge. However, ISW cannot confirm these claims.
Ukrainian military observer Konstantin Mashovets said Russian troops may have developed a plan to eliminate Ukrainian positions on the eastern bank by forming three tactical groups.
In his opinion, Russian troops plan to use two groups to bypass the Aleshki-Novaya Kakhovka road and the Krynka area from Korsunka (45 km northeast of Kherson and 1 km from the Dnieper) and Cossack Camps, while the third group will attack to the south from Krynki and move north.
