However, subsequently the operational headquarters of the Krasnodar Territory wrote that the information disseminated about the fire at the Afipsky Oil Refinery was not reliable. According to updated data, the fire allegedly occurred at the Lukoil-Yugnaftoproduct refinery in the village of Enem.

Although, as Russian media reported, emergency services reported that they had received four complaints from residents about explosions near the village of Afipsky in Kuban. The settlement is located 8 kilometers from Enem.
