According to the UN Charter and the principles and norms of international law, Serbia does not recognize the results of pseudo-referendums in the occupied Ukrainian territories.< /p>
The country's Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that the recognition of the results of the referendums “would be completely contrary” to state and national interests.
Republic of Serbia in accordance with the UN Charter and generally accepted principles international law cannot accept the results of “referenda” in the Ukrainian regions, – said the head of the Serbian Foreign Ministry Nikola Selakovic.
Selakovic stressed that his country is committed in principle to the Charter of the United Nations.
