Teroboronists repulsed the assault near Bakhmut: they captured the occupier, whose father is from Ternopil

Ukrainian defenders repulsed the assault of the Russians near Bakhmut, in the Donetsk region. During the battle, five invaders were taken prisoner.

Subsequently, it turned out that among the prisoners was an occupier whose father was from Ternopil.

During the assault on the Ukrainian positions of the 105th Separate Territorial Defense Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine near Bakhmut, the brigade’s servicemen repelled a hostile attack. Five invaders were taken prisoner, the report says.

Already in captivity, the Russian said that his father was from Ternopil. When asked why he was fighting against the Ukrainians, he answered: “yes, the mother is Russian,” which in translation into Ukrainian means, “so the mother is Russian.”

What's happening in Bakhmut

• The situation in Bakhmut is extremely complicated, the Wagnerites are trying to cordon off the city, it is possible that the Ukrainian troops will be withdrawn if the command makes an appropriate decision.
• However, Serhiy Cherevaty, spokesman for the Eastern Group of Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, stressed that now the Ukrainian command has not made a decision on the withdrawal of the Defense Forces from the city. There are still opportunities to keep Bakhmut.
• Today, March 3, it became known that the tactical aerial reconnaissance group “Madyar Birds” is being withdrawn from Bakhmut. The unit defended the fortress city for more than 100 days.
