A charity exhibition of evidence of the Russian-Ukrainian war was held in the Californian city of Berkeley. The purpose of the event was to show foreigners what Ukrainians feel every day.

In addition to the important information message, the organizers also held a charity auction. They donated all funds to provide medical care to the Armed Forces.

Important message of peace

In the American city of Berkeley, California, a charity exhibition of Ukrainians' stories about the war was held. All this evidence is stored on the online social platform Svidok.org. The organizers planned to create a space that would attract foreigners to Russia's criminal activities.

Newspapers give statistics, the number of lost tanks, raids, and the Witness tells human stories. The purpose of the event was to let the world see what Ukrainians go through every day – to develop empathy and compassion, and to encourage people to continue supporting Ukraine to victory. – said exhibition organizer James Hodson.

The main objective of the exhibition was to highlight the destruction of the cultural national heritage of Ukraine by the Russians. In addition to observing the objects, guests could take part in a charity art auction. They could purchase handmade Ukrainian tapestries, paintings by famous artists such as Ekaterina Krivolap and Alexander Shtets and other examples of folk art.

The auction also included rare exhibits straight from the front. Among these historical items was a bottle of Bakhmut champagne and a drawing on a shell from a 122 mm howitzer shell by Olga Prasol. Guests were also able to add to the collection the artistic works of the defenders created during rehabilitation through art therapy in the Rivne hospital.

During the auction, they managed to collect about 20 thousand dollars. This money will go to help the hospital in Rivne and tactical medicine for soldiers of the 92nd separate assault brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces and the Kraken special forces.

Previously, similar exhibitions have already been held in New York and Washington. The organizers plan to continue creating such exhibitions not only in the USA, but also in Europe.

Support for Ukrainian fighters

  • The Ukrainian Team volunteer headquarters handed over kamikaze drones to intelligence officers from the Main Intelligence Directorate. Such drones are capable of carrying up to 1 kilogram of explosives, which will definitely cause problems for the occupiers.
  • Sergei Sternenko announced the largest gathering to deal the Russians a serious blow – even greater than in Pskov. The goal is to collect 75 million hryvnia. He announced that first Ukrainians will see the result, and then the means to achieve it.
  • OKKO, together with the “Come Back Alive” foundation, handed over to the defense forces 25 SHARK reconnaissance complexes, which were collected as part of the “Eye for an Eye” initiative. Additionally, the company purchased another 25 drones “in reserve.”
