The last flight of MiG-29 fighters took place at one of the air bases in Slovakia. These aircraft may soon go into service with the Ukrainian army.
The photos and video of this flight over the Malacky-Kuchina base on August 28 were published. They noted that it was a very sensual moment for everyone on Earth. Next time, these fighters may take to the skies already for the defense of Ukraine.

However, subsequently two of them scattered in different directions, while the others followed the preliminary course. Even civilians were allowed to watch this, and loudspeakers were installed in the people, where the solemn melody Chariots Of Fire by Vangelis played.

When it became known that they want to give MiG-29s to Ukraine
The Slovak Prime Minister did not rule out that 11 aircraft could be handed over to the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The first such statements from the Minister of Defense of Slovakia were made at the end of July. He noted that such a scenario is indeed being considered.
However, the condition was that the country's airspace would remain protected. It was about air defense, which should be provided by Poland and the Czech Republic. On August 27, an agreement was signed in which the two countries agreed to patrol the airspace of Slovakia.
