Teacher certification 2025: what subjects
Certification 2025 covers a wide range of teaching staff. In addition to the traditional participation of primary school teachers, teachers who teach mathematics, Ukrainian language and literature in grades 5-11 are involved in the process.
Teachers of integrated courses in civic and historical education, as well as social studies, are also added to the list. This year, English teachers of all grades can take part in the certification.

Who can take part in the 2025 teacher certification
To take part in the certification, a teacher must meet certain criteria:
- You must have at least two years of teaching experience.
- The teacher must work at the main place of work in the appropriate position, that is, be a teacher of primary grades, mathematics, Ukrainian language and literature, history, civics or English. This fact is confirmed by a certificate from the educational institution.
It is important to note that teachers working part-time or combined, as well as heads and their deputies, are not allowed to participate, even if they have a teaching load in the relevant subjects.
That is, certification is intended specifically for those teachers who work at their main place of work in the relevant position and have the required length of service.
Teacher Certification 2025: Stages
Registration will now last from December 23 to January 9, 2025. It will take place in two stages:
- main — from December 23 to January 6 (in accordance with the maximum number limits for a particular region);
- additional — from January 7 to January 9 (within the overall maximum number).
But if the maximum number of registered application forms is collected before the end of this period, then registration will be terminated early. Therefore, all teachers who wish to participate should hurry.
Certification of teaching staff in 2025: how to register
At the initial stage a special application card is created using the service, but submitting an application is not the end of registration.
Instructions for submitting an application for teacher certification in 2025:
- After creating the application card, you need to download and save the control and information letter. It describes the registration steps that you need to follow.
- After this, the data you specified in the application card is checked. Next, you should fill out the application on the registration application card.
- Next, you should make copies of your passport and identification number on paper and certify them with your own hands, that is, put your signature.
- After this, form a set of documents and send this package of papers to the address of the Regional Center for Education Quality Assessment, which is indicated in the information letter, by January 9, 2025.
- It is after these steps that you will receive a special registered letter from the Regional Center for Education Quality Assessment, which will contain the participant's registration message and the login and PIN code in order to gain access to the participant's account certification.
But in order to get a login and PIN code for the certification participant's account, it is not necessary to wait for a letter from the postal service. This can be done online and use the registration status check service. Also, the password for accessing the participant's account can be found out in accordance with the registration card-application number.
