Transnistria is in shock/delo.ua
The leaders of the quasi-republic created by Russia on the territory of Moldova were shocked by the outbreak of a full-scale war in Ukraine, since for them this conflict meant a possible beginning of the end. Over the many years of the existence of the “PMR” in Pridnestrovie, everyone got used to life in relative stability and did not prepare for war at all.
According to Channel 24 sources in the Ukrainian special services, in the very first days of the war, the so-called “MRT” realized that they were in complete isolation from Russia. The only hope of the terrorists was the creation of a land corridor in Pridnestrovie by Putin's Hordes, but everyone understood that this could only happen if the orcs were incredibly successful.
The rashists did not win any victory in the direction of movement to Moldova, which is why the situation for the unrecognized region began to seriously deteriorate.
Help did not come, reinforcements were not sent
The Russian contingent stationed in Transnistria realized that there would not be enough forces to possibly hold the Moldovan troops in the event of a possible attempt to deal with the quasi-formation by force. It was no longer possible to transfer additional units from Russia. The Kremlin also understood this, which is why they began to put pressure on Chisinau politically to contain possible attacks.
In parallel with this, the fully motivated Russian curators of the “PMR” began to rattle their weapons, prepare the Tiraspol airport to receive aircraft and generally pretend that they are ready almost for a war with Ukraine.
Checks of the armored vehicles located in Transnistria showed that the situation is much worse than anyone could even imagine. Out of every four tanks, only one could start. Approximately the same was with armored personnel carriers and infantry fighting vehicles. The defensive ability of the “MRT”, according to Moscow's realistic assessment, is to resist the forces of Moldova for several weeks.
However, if Ukraine intervenes in the solution of the problem, the Russian General Staff predicted the complete loss of the enclave in two days. However, the Russians remain confident that Kyiv and Chisinau will never take real joint action to solve the problem of the turbulent region.
In order to strengthen the grouping, they tried to mobilize the population in Transnistria, but all these measures did not lead to anything. The military leadership of the quasi-education was able to recruit only 59 people. Therefore, the “PMR” does not understand at all why Putin began to pretend that an attack on Ukraine was planned from there. And they are very afraid of getting an order to provoke the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Putin's provocations are the Kremlin's agony
With the beginning of the second stage of Russia's full-scale war against Ukraine, the Kremlin and the Russian Ministry of Defense made several statements about their intentions to break through the land border in Transnistria. They did this, according to the Ukrainian special services, so that the General Staff of our state could not freely operate reserves in this direction. However, this was not enough for Putin. Given the real situation on the fronts, the tightening of the sanctions loop and the likely expansion of NATO, the Kremlin regime has found itself in a state of agony. Even though Russia can hold out and wage war for several years, Moscow is fully aware that without victories they will quickly lose control over the situation inside their country.
This situation forces Putin and his henchmen to threaten all the countries of the world that they consider hostile. These are Japan, which calls the Kuriles occupied territories, and Finland and Sweden, who decided to join the North Atlantic Alliance, the Baltic countries, and in general, almost the entire West. But at the same time, Kremlin Hitler cannot move from unfounded statements to real actions, since Russia cannot open a second front either physically or economically. Unless in some very small states with a guarantee of non-interference of the world community.
Since Orkistan found himself in a situation where he can only conduct military operations in Ukraine and threaten peace, Moscow decided to increase pressure on Ukraine and Europe in the only way possible for them – to create a series of provocations in Transnistria. In this way, the Russians hoped to solve several problems at once: to mobilize the population of the quasi-republic, tie down Ukrainian reserves and create another more or less hot spot on the map of Europe.
It should be noted that all the provocations created by the FSB officers are extremely stupid, because the shelling of the empty building of the “MGB” was carried out with Russian weapons, blowing up radio towers can hardly help the population become angry with Ukraine, as well as an explosion on the territory of a military unit.
Got the opposite effect
It is difficult to say what exactly the Russians were counting on by committing such provocations. However, apart from another wave of propaganda from Solovyov and Skabeeva in the spirit of “dills are shelling not only Russia, but Transnistria too,” nothing was received in Moscow. The terrorist enclave, in a panic, began to “catch saboteurs” and announced the installation of roadblocks, the transfer of security forces to an enhanced mode of service, and transferred schools to distance learning. This led to a fair amount of tension in the situation directly inside the “MRT”, but not at all to the one that the invaders were counting on. Residents of the non-republic, who can, began to leave from there to Moldova. They will also react to the situation in Chisinau, but it is still unknown how. The leaders of the terrorist enclave do not understand why Russia resorted to provocations at all. They are terribly afraid of losing the territory, which has become a smuggling window for almost all of Europe, which brings incredible money to all the elites.
As for what the provocations have changed for Ukraine, the answer is very simple: the General Staff fully understood the possibility senseless offensive from Transnistria on our territory since the beginning of the war. This possibility remains, but any strengthening of groups in the “MRT” is impossible.
