Take Kyiv in 3 days: who led Russia to catastrophic decisions on February 24/kremlin

The interview of Nikolai Patrushev, chairman of the Security Council and one of Putin's closest associates, is a perfect illustration of the workings of the mechanism that led Russia to disastrous decisions on February 24.

Patrushev is obviously not only incompetent – he is simply inadequate. He lives in a fictional world, but, unfortunately, makes decisions in the real one.

Patrushev's failure

Yes, it was in this fictional world that Kyiv was taken for three day, because Ukraine did not have an army, Zelensky fled because he is a drug addict and a clown, and Russian soldiers were greeted with flowers, bread and salt.

With exactly the same idiotic confidence, Patrushev now talks about biological weapons, the unsuitability of the Bologna system and the pegging of the ruble to the dollar. It is incomprehensible to the mind that someone can listen to the reasoning of a person who has failed in his main activity, security, about education and the economy.

Over the years, his interviews left the impression that foreign analysts were seriously talking about 10-dimensional chess, in which Patrushev understands everything, but pretends to be illiterate and does not understand anything for the purpose of some kind of strategic layout. Seriously.

Russia is in its most dangerous situation since 1941

But now – after they sent SOBR and the orchestra to certain death in exact accordance with the nonsense that he stated in the interview, it is clear that there are no 10-dimensional chess and “double bottom”.

Indeed, a person who does not know how to work with information and does not adequately perceive reality is responsible for security in Russia. Not surprisingly, as a result of his activities, Russia found itself in perhaps the most dangerous situation since 1941.

This is not the first time this has happened. Do you remember what a feeling of complete inadequacy the statement of the State Committee for the State of Emergency produced on August 19, 1991? Where are they seriously, promising a complete replacement of the political and economic course, and even everyone in the dacha?

Patrushev's reasoning vividly resembles the “analyst” that the then chairman of the KGB Kryuchkov fed Gorbachev, but, much worse, fed himself. So it is now – while the FSB was hunting for girls with ribbons and old women with posters, corruption at the very top and the irremovability of power led to a real collapse of the country's security.

The real question, of course – how could it happen that an incompetent person was in a responsible position? What kind of dysfunction should the government have if a person who does not know how to work with information is responsible for the security of the country? -what does it say – but so far this is a real Russian tragedy.
