The Russians have developed a game application that helps them get information about the Ukrainian area. In the game, participants must look for “boxes” with virtual prizes that can be exchanged for electronic money.
When passing the route, children must photograph the area and objects of military and critical infrastructure. An IT company controlled by Russian special services has access to this application. It is registered in one of the European countries and distributes interactive platforms.
Thus, the enemy “in the dark”, that is, without their knowledge, used Ukrainian children to collect information about the location of strategically important objects, – said the representative of the Security Service of Ukraine Artem Dekhtyarenko.
He added that in the Kirovohrad region two teenagers were detained who were photographing checkpoints, elevators and roads.
The SBU is currently taking measures to block Russian interference in the electronic systems of official mobile applications. Law enforcement officers are also working to bring the perpetrators to justice.
