The Australian company Skyborne Technologies will supply the Ukrainian army with a batch of Cerberus GHL tactical drones. They use grenade launchers as weapons.
This was stated by the head of the company, Mike Krieg, reports the Center for National Resistance.
According to him, a batch of silent and deadly drones will be transferred to the Ukrainian Armed Forces in April 2024, since the development of the aircraft has not yet been completed.

Cerberus GHL: features and technical specifications
Cerberus GHL has a number of advantages over loitering ammunition: cost per shot, ability to detect targets in the dark, operational flexibility, and the like. Grenade launchers allow a tactical drone to hit targets more accurately than drone bombers.
On the official website, the manufacturer indicates that the drone is equipped with a five-round 40-mm HAVOC grenade launcher. It is an electronically controlled weapon system with a rate of 120 rounds per minute that accepts standard NATO grenade launcher ammunition and allows ground units to be covered by air fire.
During missions, you can use different ammunition, choosing the desired option while in flight. For example, a smoke grenade will mark the enemy's position, a flashbang grenade can be launched through a window during an assault, and a standard high-explosive fragmentation charge can be used against lightly armored vehicles and dismounted soldiers. And all this – during one mission.
The Cerberus GLH comes with a special electronically controlled HAVOC grenade launcher. It can fire five standard 40mm rounds to hit a target.
The drone is reusable, reloadable and has the added benefit of performing battle damage assessments.
The Cerberus GLH features:< /p>
- partial protection from water and dust (IP54);
- redundant intelligent battery system;
- increased flight time;
- increased resistance to recoil.
This tactical-grade fire support UAV remains the lightest multiple fire support drone on the market. Its maximum take-off weight (MTOW): 10 — 14 kg depending on weapons and configuration. The equipment can be taken out of a soldier's backpack and sent into flight in a matter of minutes.
In most cases, tactical level air fire support is carried out on a “fire and forget” basis. (e.g., loitering munitions, guided mortars), is expensive and limited to one-time use.
Cerberus GLH is effective against a variety of targets, including light armored vehicles, and can perform anti-personnel missions with minimal collateral damage. Additionally, post-combat, the operator will be able to use the Cerberus GLH to conduct battle damage assessment (BDA) for critical beyond line of sight (BLOS) targets, all from cover.
The entire airframe can tilt up and down , which allows you to guide long payloads, eliminating the need for a separate large bulky suspension.
Recall that the UK transferred heavy Malloy drones to Ukraine. They are capable of transporting a weight of up to 150 kg over a distance of 70 km and will help Ukrainian defenders transport ammunition and weapons to the front line.
Meanwhile, the Ministry of Defense showed the Ukrainian Saker Scout drone with artificial intelligence, which was approved for use in the Ukrainian Armed Forces.< /p>
