Syrsky on the reorganization of the Armed Forces of Ukraine: army corps will increase the effectiveness of combat operations

The Armed Forces of Ukraine are undergoing a large-scale reorganization aimed at strengthening their defense capability and increasing the efficiency of command and control of units in combat conditions.

The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrsky, announced this at a meeting with journalists.

Reorganization of the Armed Forces of Ukraine

The main goal of the changes is to create more efficient reserves and rationalize the use of existing resources.

The reform envisages the creation of new army corps, which have already begun to carry out tasks in their designated areas of responsibility.

Some of them have undergone combat coordination and are staffed with support units. The next stages involve the deployment of other corps.

The updated organizational structure allows for a reduction in the number of directly subordinate control objects, which in turn relieves the command and improves operational management of the troops.

The reform also provides for the gradual withdrawal from circulation of the operational-tactical group level, while simultaneously maintaining the operational-strategic management level.

One of the important aspects of the transformation is the more efficient use of existing personnel and technical resources, in particular in the field of artillery and unmanned systems.

The changes also contribute to the rejuvenation of the command staff: the corps are headed by experienced officers who have proven themselves in combat conditions, and their headquarters are staffed according to the principle of professional appropriateness.

Taken together, these steps should ensure more flexible management, reduced losses and increased effectiveness of offensive operations.

Reorganization is seen as an important element in preparing for dynamic changes at the front.

Situation at the front

Meanwhile, Ukrainian military personnel continue to contain the enemy's advance in all directions.

In particular, active military operations continue in Pokrovsky, Limansky and other key areas.

Despite the efforts of the Russian army, Ukrainian forces maintain their positions and conduct a fiery defeat of the enemy both in the occupied territories and on the territory of the aggressor.

Defensive actions are combined with local offensives to regain control over lost areas, in particular, thanks to the active development of new types of assault units.
