Сырский призвал украинцев за рубежом встать на защиту Украины

Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrsky called on Ukrainians who have left the country to return and fulfill their constitutional duty — to defend the state.

He said this in an interview with The Guardian.

Mobilization in Ukraine

The issue of mobilization in Ukraine is acute, because those who are fighting at the front have long been tired. The patriotic fervor that prompted many to volunteer in the spring of 2022 has dried up.

To fill the ranks of the military, the government lowered the draft age from 27 to 25 and required men to update their data in the TCC. Many have done so, but there are those who are hiding. Syrsky said that without mobilization, he cannot create new reserves and brigades, which are needed as Russia increases its units.

He called on Ukrainians living outside the country to take part in the fight for their state.

— It is very important for us that all citizens of Ukraine fulfill their constitutional duty. I hope that after the victory they will be able to tell their children where they were. Where were you when all the citizens of Ukraine were fighting in such fierce battles? That is the question, – said Alexander Syrsky.

Ukrainian Legion in Poland

It is known that a Ukrainian legion is being formed in Poland. Training will take place in Poland itself. The Poles also promised to fully equip the soldiers of this legion.

Alexander Syrsky noted that now Ukraine is doing everything to win the war, because there is simply no more important task for us.
