Switzerland did not allow Spain to transfer anti-aircraft installations to Ukraine

Spain applied to Switzerland with a request to allow the re-export of Swiss-made anti-aircraft guns to Ukraine. However, this request was rejected.

This was announced on February 10 by the Swiss government. Obviously, the country is still striving to maintain “neutrality”.

Switzerland did not allow anti-aircraft guns to be provided to Ukraine

Madrid turned to Bern with a request allow sending two anti-aircraft guns of 35 mm caliber to Ukraine. They were made in January in Switzerland. However, this request was rejected.

Earlier, Switzerland also vetoed requests from Denmark and Germany, which wanted to send Swiss-made armored vehicles and ammunition to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Please note! Swiss government on January 25 allowed to send its demining equipment to Ukraine in rare cases. The country also imposed sanctions against Russia, adopted by the European Union as part of the ninth package.

Switzerland opposes sending weapons to Ukraine
