The first racket of Ukraine Elina Svitolina revealed the names of star tennis players who support the Ukrainians after the full-scale invasion of Russia.
In an interview with Tribuna.com, Svitolina admitted that “there is no powerful help as such.”
When asked if she feels support among the top tennis stars, Elina said that they “have already gotten used to it a little,” but they also ask how they are as a family, and what is happening in Ukraine now.

According to her, contributions to her fund were made by the Greek tennis player Stefanos Tsitsipas, who is number six in the world ranking, as well as the best tennis player in the world, Poland’s Iga Swiatek.
“I can count on my fingers who donated.” Stefanos Tsitsipas made a donation to my fund, I am very grateful to him. Iga Swiatek has done a lot for the Ukrainians and our foundation. She transferred a very large amount to United24. This really helped us create camps for children, which we hold every year. She provides very powerful support,” said Svitolina.
The tennis player added that she also received a victory from the Charleston tournament, the organizers of the Dutch Bleiswijk Open and the Mubadala Citi DC Open, which took place in Washington, as well as from the WTA Charity.
Recently, Svitolina visited the military during a trip to Ukraine. Together with the writer Sergei Zhadan, the tennis player brought them military aid.
