Ukrzaliznytsia fired employees who helped resellers get tickets for the Kyiv-Warsaw-Kyiv flight. The company has transferred the sale of tickets for international flights to online mode in order to “leave no chance for speculators.”
Ukrzaliznytsia continues to fight abuse and speculation within the company. Therefore, resale of tickets for international flights is no longer possible.
What the new rules provide for
Since November 2022, ticket sales for the Kyiv-Warsaw-Kyiv route have been transferred exclusively to online channels – through the application, chat bot and the official website of UZ. It is also allowed to buy no more than 4 tickets per person.
Every day at 08:00, everyone has the opportunity to purchase tickets for the super popular flight Kyiv – Warsaw – Kyiv. The company says the sale isfor 20 days ahead,and tickets for each subsequent 20th day go on sale every day at 08:00 sharp.
It is added that all tickets that will be returned on a specific date will be entered into the system clearlyone day before the travel datebetween 08:00 and 09:00 am. And the tickets that will be rented out every day will be returned to the system no later than 30 minutes after the date of delivery.
The company fired its employees
< p>As noted, the introduction of new rules led to resellers who rebuilt the algorithms of their actions on “online rails”. Therefore, the violators began to hunt for tickets from returns.
We conducted a series of “test purchases” according to ads on the network, where they offered to find tickets to Warsaw for a “commission”. They traced where the strings lead, who made the return in violation of the established rules, the message says. Resellers could snatchup to 90 tickets per monthonly for the Warsaw flight.
