The High Council of Justice has removed from office judge of the Commercial Court of Dnipropetrovsk region, suspected of organizing the kidnapping of his business partner.
What is known about the case judges
Earlier, this judge was notified of suspicion of attempted kidnapping and organizing illegal deprivation of liberty (part 2 of article 15 part 3 of article 27 part 2 of article146 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
The penalty under the article provides for imprisonment for up to 5 years.

According to The State Bureau of Investigation, in violation of the law, while simultaneously performing judicial duties, the suspect decided to engage in entrepreneurial activity.
He found himself a partner, in whose name he registered an agricultural enterprise in the Sumy region.
The agricultural enterprise gradually expanded, and the judge's partner also invested in its development.
Subsequently, the judge decided to deprive his partner of the right to own agricultural equipment and remove them from the agricultural company altogether. But he didn't want to retire without compensation.
Therefore, the suspect ordered the representatives of the criminal world to kidnap his partner. For $17 thousand, they were supposed to deprive him of his freedom and force him to sign documents on the transfer of ownership of property of the farm.
All illegal actions of the judge were documented by the State Bureau of Investigation employees, and the suspect was also given a preventive measure in the form of house arrest with the use of electronic monitoring.
