On May 9, military parades took place in Russia. However, there was no traditional air show in the sky. The official reason given to the Russians was bad weather. Since it is sunny in most major cities, this suggests certain reflections.
It was not possible to lift one's head up and watch the planes and helicopters in Moscow and St. Petersburg. Also, the promised action was not in Samara, Novosibirsk and Yekaterinburg, Channel 24 reports.
Eyewitnesses report good weather
The Central Military District reported: there will be no aviation, because the weather does not allow it. They also covered themselves with bad weather in Rostov-on-Don, where there should have been the only air parade in the south of Russia.
Meanwhile, from the video broadcast it is clear that everything is in order with the weather in Moscow. The Russian military and the audience are dry and no one held umbrellas over Vladimir Putin during his speech.
Other Russian cities also inform about sunny weather and no storm warnings. Forecasters have warned: there may be light rain in St. Petersburg, but only after 15:00. The same can happen in Moscow – after 12:00. But during the parade, the sun was definitely shining.

Doomsday aircraft could break – media
As early as May 6, the so-called “doomsday” plane soared over Moscow – the Russian leadership should work on this aircraft in the event of a nuclear strike. This aircraft, according to the Russian Ministry of Defense, was supposed to take part in the parade for the first time since 2010. Such a reminder that Russia has a “nuclear button”. Also, the military department promised to show the Russians supersonic fighters and strategic bombers.
An interesting reason for the possible cancellation of the air parade was named in InformNapalm, citing sources in Moscow. It is likely that the doomsday plane is malfunctioning. So far, there is no evidence for this. However, we note that this would be a real mess for Russia, which was throwing nuclear threats left and right.

Ukrainian soldiers also significantly thinned out the ranks of Russian equipment. She will no longer participate in parades, because she will either be handed over for scrap, or debugged and will serve our army.
