Mobilization has continued since the start of the full-scale invasion. At the same time, it is important to remember that there are certain categories of citizens who, during the passage of the military medical commission (VVK), are recognized as unfit for service.
After a large-scale war and general military mobilization began, a lot of false information began to spread on the network about who can go to the front and in what state of health. Major of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Melnychuk and Ms. Sergeant of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Inna Lapina explained to which categories they can send conscripts after passing the VVK.
Four categories to remember
< p> It is important that after serving the summons, the conscript is not immediately sent to the front line, as many still think. First of all, doctors must determine in which group the person is liable for military service. Actually, we are talking about the following categories:
- fit for military service;
- limited fit;
- unfit for a certain period due to health reasons (until the moment of recovery);
- completely unfit with an exception from military registration. – depends on the level of his training. At the same time, persons with limited qualifications can also easily find employment in the Armed Forces. We are talking about office work, cooking, work in the information and other industries.
Partially fit is a person who can serve in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, because this is a large organism where various economic, logistical and other tasks are performed. Cooks, orderlies – whatever you want, – said Major Melnichuk.
In addition, together with his colleague, Ms. Sergeant Lapina, he confirmed that people would be mobilized according to their specialization. We also note that it is the territorial recruitment centers (former military registration and enlistment offices) that decide what a person is capable of.
Can an unprepared person be sent immediately to the front
The head of the personnel department of the headquarters of the Command of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Colonel Roman Gorbach, recently answered whether a person liable for military service could be called up to the front if he had not previously served.
From his words, it is clear if a person has no military experience – even after recognizing his VVK as fully fit, he cannot immediately go to the line of collision. First, he must be trained at the training center.
