The occupiers are transferring their launch vehicles from temporarily occupied Sevastopol to Novorossiysk. But there is no place where the invaders could safely charge and discharge their ships.

Roman Svitan, a reserve colonel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, an instructor pilot, and a military expert, told Channel 24 , noting that the Russians have yet to determine this place. He added that this should be done as far as possible from the populated area. Let us note that the situation in the Black Sea has changed.

A special engineering service charges and discharges launch vehicles. It was built in the temporarily occupied Crimea – in Sevastopol Bay. Invaders are afraid to charge and recharge their ships.

When a ship comes in to charge or recharge, it stays in the area of this system for a long time. She is very vulnerable to air strikes. If we determine that the ship has approached, they will definitely decide to strike with the weapons that we have,” the military expert emphasized.

This way the enemy will definitely have fewer ships and the entire system will collapse. The occupiers understand this very well. This is why almost all Russian launch vehicles are charged. The invaders do not use missiles, because then there will be nowhere to charge them.

In order not to reduce the combat readiness of their fleet, the Russians do not use Kalibr cruise missiles. However, the reserve colonel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine is sure that the enemy will still transfer this special engineering system from Crimea. Until it is destroyed, the occupiers will continue to use these missiles.

“There is an opportunity to finish it off in Sevastopol and then not allow it to be deployed in Novorossiysk. A legitimate military target is one of the most likely main ones, which will put all launch vehicles out of action at the same time. After discharge, they simply will have nowhere to charge these missiles,” the military expert noted.

Why Russia is transferring its fleet

  • On November 10, Ukrainian defenders hit two enemy landing boats. This happened off the coast of the temporarily occupied peninsula. The boats “Akula” and “Chamois” sank to the bottom of the Black Sea.
  • After a series of successful attacks by the Ukrainian Armed Forces on the Black Sea Fleet, the aggressor country decided to relocate its fleet. Speaker of the Ukrainian Navy Dmitry Pletenchuk said that Russian ships reached Tuapse – Krasnodar region of Russia. From time to time the enemy relocates his ships there too.
  • Meanwhile, partisans of the Atesh movement recorded how the enemy was transferring ships, troops and equipment to Novorossiysk. The occupiers are trying to save their ships from new attacks.
