The Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine is considering the option of depriving students who are currently abroad of scholarships.
Deputy Minister of Education Mikhail Vinnitsky said this on air at the United News telethon.
According to him, the President of Ukraine noticed how many students there are now who are actually abroad? Vinnitsky said that they will analyze this now.

— We should not pay scholarships to those students who are abroad. Due to the fact that we will not pay scholarships to students who are currently abroad. They can continue to study, please, but the issue of scholarships will apparently be blocked for them,” the official said.
He noted that in this case, this will mean that there will be cost savings, which will allow us to increase scholarships for those students who are in Ukraine.
“We must still help the students who remain in Ukraine, who will join our country with us, so that they really have the opportunity to study,” he added.
Let us remind you that students who study with funds from the state budget and are excellent full-time students are entitled to receive scholarships financed from the state budget.
