Strike on the station in Balakleya
Russian troops launched a missile strike in Balakleya, Kharkov region, near the railway station.
People were in passenger cars of the Kharkov electric train — Raisin, when the occupiers attacked with a rocket, reported in the Kharkov OVA.
According to updated information, 10 people were injured and received varying degrees of explosive injuries as a result of Russian shelling.
Missile attack on Smela
Russian troops launched a missile strike on Smila, Cherkasy region, resulting in a hit on a critical infrastructure facility.
According to Ilya Yevlash, a representative of the Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, the Russian army fired one missile at the Cherkasy region. Preliminarily, we are talking about Iskander-K.
As a result of a missile attack on Smela, logistics railway communications, administrative buildings, cars and civilian property were damaged.
Explosions in Krivoy Rog
Air defense forces shot down a Russian missile in Krivoy Rog, Dnepropetrovsk region this afternoon, April 25.
According to information from the Dnepropetrovsk Police Department, the explosion in Krivoy Rog — this was the work of air defense, or rather the defenders from the East Air Command.
Situation at the front
The situation at the front remains very difficult due to the attempts of the Russian occupiers to carry out assaults and attack Ukrainian positions.
In the Kupyansk direction, Ukrainian soldiers repulsed nine attacks in the areas of the settlements of Berestovye, Kharkov region, and Stelmakhovka, Lugansk region.
In the Liman direction, the Defense Forces repulsed 16 attacks in the areas of Druzhelyubovka in the Kharkov region, Makeevka and Serebryansky forestry in the Luhansk region, and Ternakh and Zarechny in the Donetsk region.
In the Bakhmut direction, the Ukrainian Armed Forces repelled 16 attacks in Belogorivka, Lugansk region, Verkhnekamensky, Novy, Spirn, Ivanovsky, Kleshchievka, Donetsk region, where the enemy tried to improve the tactical situation.
In the Avdeevsky direction, soldiers repulsed 23 attacks in Ocheretino, Umanskoye, Nevelskoye, Keramika, Berdichi and Netaylovo, Donetsk region, where the Russian army tried to oust Ukrainian units from certain lines.
In the Novopavlovsk direction, the Ukrainian Armed Forces are holding back the invaders in the areas of Krasnohorivka, Pobeda, Novomikhailovka, Vodyanoye, Donetsk region, where the enemy tried to break through the defenses of Ukrainian troops 14 times.
In the Kherson direction, the Russian army is still trying to oust our units from the bridgeheads on the left bank of the Dnieper. The occupiers made three unsuccessful attacks on the positions of Ukrainian soldiers in the Krynok area.
Ukrainian men abroad
Ukrainian men of military age abroad were no longer provided with consular services.
The Cabinet of Ministers prohibited the transfer of passports and international passports of Ukrainian citizens, namely men aged 18 to 60 years, to other countries.
In Lithuania, Defense Minister Laurynas Kasciunas admits that the country can help Ukraine return the men.
Lithuania is not yet considering specific measures and are watching what decisions Poland will make, which previously stated that it was impossible for men to stay without passports.
At the same time, Ukrainians will be able to stay in Germany with an invalid document, since the government announced that the Berlin Land Office will issue a document replacing a passport for traveling abroad.
