Russian attack on the center of Kurakhovo
On the night of January 4, Russian occupiers attacked the center of Kurakhovo, Donetsk region, with missiles. As a result of the attack, a kindergarten, a school, a health center and a cafe were destroyed there.
The Donetsk Air Force reported numerous damages to high-rise buildings. They note that there were no civilian casualties.

Fire at the factory in Kanev
A fire broke out on the territory of a creamery in Kanev, Cherkasy region. The State Emergency Service reported an increased call number. The fire covered about 200 square meters. m of roofing when rescuers arrived.
Strike on the Russian command post near Sevastopol

The occupiers are not abandoning attempts to carry out offensives in the Bakhmut direction, in particular, in the area of Bogdanovka and Andreevka. In the direction of Chasovoy Yar, the Russians are trying to storm Ukrainian positions.

During a meeting of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on National Security, Defense and Intelligence, a new bill on mobilization in Ukraine was discussed. A decision on his fate could be made within a week, explained committee secretary Roman Kostenko.
Blockade on the border with Poland
