The Russian army launched a missile attack on Selidovo, Donetsk region, resulting in deaths and injuries.
In the Zaporozhye region, the Russian Federation attacked civilian infrastructure, as a result of which two rescuers died from injuries, and three more employees of the State Emergency Service were injured.
The occupiers are holding the line, despite the fact that the movement of the Ukrainian Defense Forces is inevitable. According to the speaker of OK South, the Russian Federation cannot calculate from which direction to expect danger, and uses heavy artillery, MLRS, and tactical aviation in the Kherson region.

Russian missile attack on Selidovoy
The Russian army launched a missile strike on the town of Selidovo, Pokrovsky district, Donetsk region. As a result of the attack, the entrance to a four-story residential building was destroyed.
Because of the shelling of Selidov, two people died, who were pulled out from under the rubble of the building. Preliminarily, one more person may be under the rubble, the State Emergency Service reported.

Return of Ukrainian children
The Kherson OVA reported that it was possible to return six children to the controlled territory of Ukraine. Among them are two orphans.
According to the military administration, the children and their families are in a safe place. They will work with doctors and psychologists.

Russian attack in Zaporozhye region
The number of people killed as a result of missile strikes in the Zaporozhye region has increased to two people. Both are rescuers from the State Emergency Service, who arrived after the first strike to eliminate the consequences of the hit. The men were 31 and 34 years old.
In the Zaporizhzhya police department, seven more wounded were reported, two of whom were women. The blast wave and debris damaged houses, cars and outbuildings located near the attack site.
The situation in the Kherson region
The Ukrainian Defense Forces in the Kherson direction are asking for information silence so that they can later report on great successes, said Natalya Gumenyuk, spokeswoman for the Operational Command South.
— The squeeze on our side takes place on a line from 3 to 8 km along the entire coast from the water’s edge, the front line is very mobile. Obviously, this puts pressure on the enemy. For now, we ask for information silence so that our planned maxim can work, which will then allow us to report on great successes,” noted the OK South speaker.
Theft of 43 million UAH from the Ministry of Defense
A Ukrainian citizen was detained in Greece, suspected of illegally appropriating budget funds in the amount of UAH 43 million, at the request of the Office of the Prosecutor General.
According to the investigation, the director of the LLC, in collusion with other persons, embezzled funds that the company received as an advance payment under contracts with the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine for the purchase of military goods.
The Ukrainian was informed of suspicion of taking possession of someone else's property by abusing an official's official position and disposing of property obtained by criminal means on an especially large scale by an organized group (Part 5 of Article 191, Part 3 of Article 209 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

The EU intends to ban the export of drone parts to the Russian Federation
The European Union intends to ban the export of machine tools and weapons parts that Russia uses for production to wage war against Ukraine.
In the 12th package of sanctions, the European Union is proposed to ban the export of diamonds and strengthen control over compliance with the upper limit on the price of Russian oil.
Defense cooperation with Italy and security guarantees
President Vladimir Zelensky and Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni agreed to begin work on bilateral security guarantees in the implementation of the G7 Vilnius Declaration.
According to the head of state, they discussed defense cooperation between Ukraine and Italy, as well as the need to accelerate the adoption of the 12th package of European Union sanctions against the aggressor country Russia.
Opening a case against Farion
The Security Service of Ukraine announced the opening of criminal proceedings against the dismissed teacher of the National University of Lviv Polytechnic and former MP Irina Farion, who distinguished herself with scandalous statements and the disclosure of a pro-Ukrainian student in occupied Crimea.
According to the SBU, a number of examinations have already been appointed regarding her statements and publications. Proceedings have been opened against Farion under four articles of the Criminal Code.
Among them are violations of the equality of citizens, insults to the honor and dignity of military personnel, and violations of the secrecy of correspondence and privacy.
