Occupiers are most likely preparing for a new massive attack on Ukraine, but the weather is on our side. A raging storm at sea does not allow the enemy to withdraw their ships.
This was told by the speaker of the Operational Command “South” Natalya Gumenyuk on the air of the telethon, Channel 24 reports.
From- due to the growing storm, the enemy brought his ship grouping to the base points as much as possible. Now only 3 units are on combat duty. At the same time, there is not a single launch vehicle among them.
But I note that this is not a reason to relax, because they can return. In addition, this is not such a critical storm, which will not allow you to go to sea and perform tasks at all,” Gumenyuk emphasized.
At the same time, she noted that the rocket carriers are loaded and ready to go to sea in a matter of hours and start attacking. Earlier, Gumenyuk said that the Russians were preparing for something. As early as December 5, when the occupiers were preparing for a massive missile strike, they launched launch vehicles into the sea and raised strategic and tactical aircraft. Thus, a similar situation is now observed.
“But now they are maneuvering. Remember that it is not difficult for them to return that launch vehicle to combat duty, it takes several hours,” Gumenyuk said.
When will there be a new massive attack on Ukraine
Ukrainians have been warned for the past few days that the enemy may resort to strikes on New Year's holidays. However, the “pop” that happened the other day at the Russian military airfield “Engels” ruined the plans of the invaders.
- At the same time, Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal is convinced that Russia is preparing to continue attacks on the Ukrainian power system. Shmyhal stressed that Ukraine is in readiness for new massive shelling. He added that the shelling could happen at any moment.
- And NSDC Secretary Oleksiy Danilov suggested that the Russian invaders might postpone the massive shelling of Ukrainian infrastructure before the New Year due to missile savings, but there is no guarantee of this.
