Thunderstorms are expected in Ukraine until the end of the day. In some regions, the level of fire danger will be high.
This was reported on May 25 at the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center.
Hydrometeorological Center Forecasts
In the coming hours and until the end of the day, as well as on May 26, thunderstorms will be in the following regions:
- in Transcarpathia and Prykarpattya;
- in Vinnitsa region;
- in Odessa region;
- in Mykolaiv region.

Bad weather in the Dnieper
Across Ukraine, 21 bad weather was seething – in different regions there were strong winds and downpours. In particular, in the Dnieper, the hurricane uprooted trees and even damaged the property of the locals. People showed the consequences left by the elements.
What happened in Chernihiv region
In Chernihiv region 12 May a powerful hurricane swept through. It caused numerous damage to power lines – power was not provided for 68,912 subscribers throughout the region.
According to the head of the Chernigov Regional Military Administration Vyacheslav Chaus, the wind destroyed the roofs in 198 houses. This happened in the Koryukovskaya, Snovskaya and Kholminsky territorial communities.
“Emergency services are working to eliminate the consequences of bad weather. 54 brigades, 140 workers and 58 units of equipment were involved in the restoration of power supply,” – said the head of the Chernihiv Regional State Administration.

What happening in Europe
In Germany, a strong tornado swept through the city of Paderborn on May 20th. It is known that 30 to 40 people were injured due to bad weather. Ten of them are in critical condition. There are also many fallen trees and damaged buildings in the city.
