The United States will continue to help Ukraine, because this is in the interests of the country’s national security.
This was stated by the NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg.
When asked about US assistance to Ukraine and the debate on this matter, he replied that, of course, it is important that all allies continue to adhere to the decisions that were jointly adopted at the Vilnius summit.

“All heads of state and government, all NATO allies promised to support Ukraine not only because President Putin’s victory would be a tragedy for Ukrainians, but also because it would be dangerous for us,” says the Secretary General.
He noted that the idea then would be that when authoritarian leaders use military force, when they violate international law, when they invade another country, they get what they want, and that will make the world more dangerous and NATO members vulnerable.
In his opinion, it is in the interests of the national security of all NATO allies, including the United States, to prevent a Russian victory.
“And therefore I am confident that the United States will continue to support Ukraine,” Stoltenberg said.
He noted the actions of Germany, which only a few days ago made new important statements about increasing support for Ukraine. Other allies also announced additional aid, he said. Therefore, he believes that the increase in injections will continue.
