Vice Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration of Ukraine Olga Stefanishinacommented on “peace proposals” former British Prime Minister Boris Johnson.
She stated that Johnson, discussing the war in Ukraine with US presidential candidate Donald Trump, acted solely on his own initiative.

The politician believes that Johnson, on his own initiative, wanted to explain the situation in Ukraine to Trump during the meeting. And such a voice is “very valuable”.

In her opinion, Johnson is trying to create a field for discussion with his actions.

On July 17, former Boris Johnson met with former US President and candidate Donald Trump, who received the Republican nomination as a presidential candidate in the 2024 elections.
During the meeting they discussed the situation in Ukraine. Johnson, in particular, expressed confidence that Trump can achieve an end to the war in Ukraine.
