Turkey is promoting negotiations

Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan said Russia and Ukraine “have reached the limit of what they can achieve with war.” That is why, in his opinion, countries should begin negotiations on a ceasefire.

According to Fidan, a ceasefire does not mean recognition of the occupation. Turkey believes that now is the time to separate the issue of recognition of occupation and sovereignty from the issue of suspending hostilities.

Negotiations between the two countries
