According to him, Ukrainian forces from Svyatogorsk are creating a foothold on the left bank of the Oskol River for further development of the offensive. In his opinion, during the counterattacks of the Ukrainian military in the Kharkiv region, the Russians simply panicked.
“We saw the same thing near Nikolaev. There were battles and our first counterattacks forced them to flee to Kherson. Then the commanders returned the troops back to the positions that they had left. And in Starobelsk they began to collect things. Then the command recovered and returned the troops “, – Zhdanov believes.
He is convinced that it was in Svatovo that the occupiers began to form a stronghold to create a defense along the Oskol River.
“They are now overturning troops and reinforcements there. There will be a rear base to secure the line of defense along the Oskol reservoir,” the expert concluded.
