Sports journalist and editor-in-chief of Football magazine Artem Frankov has died. He was 53 years old.
This was announced by the deputy editor-in-chief of the magazine Andrey Shakhov.
— Late in the evening the heart of the legendary Artem Frankov stopped beating. Our godfather. I am proud and grateful for every meeting, for every conversation and advice. For all. You will forever remain a loved one. “Blessed memory, Uncle Artem,” Shakhov wrote.

The media write that Frankov suffered a second stroke. He ended up in intensive care, where doctors fought for his life.
Frankov’s Telegram channel also posted a message about his death.
— Friends, with great regret and sorrow we have to inform you that on October 31 at 22:40 Artem Vadimovich died. Eternal memory,” the message says.
Artem Frankov has been the editor-in-chief of the sports magazine Football since 1997. After the start of a full-scale war in Ukraine, the publication was published in the electronic format Football-War.
