The FSB agent turned out to be a resident of the temporarily occupied Pologovsky district. The Russians recruited the woman on the territory of the community and subsequently sent her to the regional center, allegedly as a volunteer.
Upon arrival in the city, the attacker tried to establish personal contacts with the Ukrainian military in order to secretly obtain from them the information the enemy needed.
According to the FSB’s instructions, the woman was to transmit to her Russian curator the locations of headquarters, fortified areas, and firing positions of the Ukrainian defenders in the Zaporozhye region.
The traitor communicated with her Russian curator via an anonymous chat in a messenger, where she received assignments and sent reports and intelligence.
The court found the attacker guilty under Part 2 of Art. 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (high treason committed under martial law).
The woman was sentenced to 15 years of imprisonment with confiscation of all property.
