Spanish trolling: Sergio Ramos presented Shakira with a music award for her song about Pike

Former Real Madrid footballer Sergio Ramos presented Colombian singer Shakira with a Latin Grammy award for a song in which the singer ridicules her former partner, ex-Barcelona footballer Gerard Pique.

Shakira: Bzrp Music Session, Vol 53 was named Song of the Year and Best Pop Song at the awards ceremony.

The song became the most popular new Latin song in YouTube history.

Ramos, who now defends the colors of Seville, presented Shakira with a statuette from the stage during the awards ceremony in Seville.

Despite being partners in the Spanish national team, Ramos and Pique have long been bitter rivals at club level, with Real Madrid and Barcelona battling it out for top honors in La Liga and the Champions League.

Shakira and Pique announced their separation in June 2022 after more than 11 years of marriage. Later it became known that the reason for the separation was Pique’s infidelity with 23-year-old Clara Chia.

In the Grammy-winning song, Shakira sings: I'm worth two 22-year-olds and You traded a Ferrari for a Twingo.

In her speech, Shakira thanked her fans for being with her during her “tough moments,” which many believe is a reference to her split from Pique. She dedicated the award to the Spanish public.
