Spain has begun transferring a new one to Ukraine military aid shipments. In particular, it includes 10 Leopard 2A4 battle tanks, several excavators and a large number of anti-tank missiles.

In the press service of the Spanish Ministry of Defense told the details.

The multimodal transportation to Ukraine of 10 Leopard 2A4 battle tanks has begun, which have undergone a process of repair, adjustment and readiness at the Santa Bárbara Sistemas plant in Alcalá de Guadaira, as well as corresponding tests to verify their full functionality, – the message says.

The defense department noted that a new batch of aid will arrive in Poland this weekend, after which they will be delivered to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

At the same time, it is noted that with this new batch of Leopard 2A4 tanks, Spain transferred a total of 20 such tanks to Ukraine, and plans to prepare or transfer another new set in the second half 2024.
