A cargo of military aid from Spain was sent to Ukraine. It includes an air defense battery, ammunition, etc.
In addition, military assistance provides for the provision of armored vehicles. This was reported in the Ministry of Defense of Spain, as written in El Pais. :
- about 20 armored vehicles;
- 75 field artillery ammunition pallets;
- a full air defense battery;
- 1000 tons of diesel, worth approximately 2.5 million euros.
Armored vehicles and ammunition are already at the disposal of the Ukrainian authorities.
Spain took care not only of military assistance. The country has prepared “upon urgent request” a shipment of 30,000 military uniforms for the winter, namely 15,600 jackets, 15,000 suits and several thousand pieces of additional clothing. The shipment was scheduled for September.
In addition, Spain will train the Ukrainian military in the operation of an anti-aircraft battery. The country will also conduct training for Ukrainian Air Force personnel “in an ally country”, the name of which is not yet known.
