SpaceX launched a military satellite for South Korea

The American company SpaceX entrepreneur Elon musk, launched the Falcon 9 with a communication satellite ANASIS-II for military purposes in South Korea. The broadcast was carried out on the SpaceX website.

The rocket was launched from the spaceport at Cape Canaveral (Florida) at 17:30 on the East coast of the USA (00:30 GMT). The first stage of Falcon 9 re-landing on a barge in the Atlantic ocean. The separation of the satellite and orbit are planned in 32 minutes after launch.

At the request of the South Korean side, SpaceX will not show the satellite. According to the portal Spaceflight, the unit is designed to provide secure and interference-resistant communications for the military of South Korea. It was created with the participation of Lockheed Martin and Airbus Group.
