The presentation of the new generation Sony set-top box is scheduled for September 16. This is reported on the official PlayStation blog.
The PlayStation 5 launch event will take place on September 16 at 23:00 Moscow time. Sony representatives announced that on this date the company wants to once again show some of the games that will be available from the time of the official release of the console and will be released in the future. The blog also says that some PS5 details will be revealed at the presentation.
The online presentation is 40 minutes long. The event will be streamed on Sony's Twitch and YouTube platforms.
In late August, Sony opened pre-orders for its next-generation console. The company invited users of the PS ecosystem to join the virtual queue, participation in which entitles them to the first-priority purchase of the PlayStation 5. At the moment, the opportunity to participate in pre-order is available only to US residents, where, according to insiders, the console will debut in the first place.
