Somehow they see the world differently, – Zelensky on Hungary's position on oil

Zelensky about Hungary's position/Channel 24

Zelensky criticized Hungary's position on the embargo on Russian oil. The President noted that the countries “somehow see the world differently.”

Hungary is not stopped by the fact that energy funds finance the Kremlin's war machine. Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated this during the Ukrainian breakfast in Davos on May 25, Channel 24 reports.

We have reached the sixth package (sanctions – Channel 24). It has an oil embargo. Everyone says that during this time Russia will earn 200 billion dollars. For these amounts, they can buy any weapon. Has the sixth package been introduced? No. Why? Nothing suits Hungary. Something is wrong with the oil. Somehow they see the world differently,” Zelensky said.

Budapest argues its position by the fact that it needs significant funds to abandon Russian oil. Hungary does not perceive the fact that people are constantly dying in Ukraine, among whom there are many children.

They are told: there in Ukraine people are dying, children are dying, they are being killed. Just like an 18-year-old killer in Texas… So we have 18-year-old soldiers who came from Russia and simply tortured kids. They were told about it, and they say: “Everything is clear. – So what about oil? – Where can we get the money?” – notes the president.
