The corresponding message was published by the State Scientific and Technical Center for Nuclear and Radiation Safety (SSTC NRS) on its Facebook page June 7th. In it, experts addressed an appeal to the residents of the Ivankivska territorial community of the Kyiv region.

< p>It is noted that, on behalf of the State Nuclear Regulatory Commission, SSTC specialists will conduct radiation survey of the territories of the Kyiv region that were under temporary occupation of the Russian military, in particular the settlements of the Ivankiv territorial community.
The check for radiation contamination will take place due to the fact that the equipment of the invaders invaded Ukraine from the territory of the exclusion zone and mandatory resettlement. Therefore, the message says, risks exist, associated with the transfer of radiation outside the dangerous Chernobyl zone.
Only territories where mine clearance has been carried out are surveyed. The radiation screening will be free of charge for the residents of the community. The dates of the survey will be announced later, the SSTC specified.
