On the night of March 9, there was a massive rocket attack on the cities of Ukraine. In total, about 80 missiles were fired that night, but they were counted differently.
Yury Ignat, spokesman for the command of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, told Channel 24 about this. According to him, only cruise missiles are usually included in the statistics of fired and downed missiles, while the rest were singled out separately.

Yuri Ignat noted that during the last missile attack, about 80 missiles were fired, but some types of missiles, this time included in the statistics, were not previously included, but were considered separately.
Of those 80, there are many missiles that we did not even include in the statistics before. Yes, it was cruise missiles that used to give the most, but here you see 13 S-300s, we also singled them out separately,” Ignat said.
According to a representative of the command of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, this time the Kh-39 and Kh-31 missiles, with which the enemy is trying to destroy the Ukrainian air defense systems, were also included in the general statistics.

They differ from cruise and guided missiles.
The enemy often hits them with air defense systems. It is with these missiles that he is trying to destroy our air defense, – said Yuri Ignat.
If we count only cruise missiles, which are usually taken into account in statistics, then their number was 48.
Yuri Ignat is convinced that if Russia had more such missiles, it would produce more, but how many of them are limited, the Russians are now using a variety of types of missiles.
