Special services claimed that Russia would capture all of Ukraine in 3 weeks, – Danilov/Office of the President
Special services of certain countries of the world were sure that Russia would be able to capture the entire territory of Ukraine within 3-5 days. According to the most optimistic forecast, this should have happened in 3 weeks.
This information was made public by NSDC Secretary Alexei Danilov in an interview.
According to him, such forecasts were a huge mistake of both the Russians themselves and the special services.
This there was a mistake by the special services of some countries of the world, because they gave us from 3 to 5 days. The most optimistic forecast was that Vladimir Putin would take over all of Ukraine, including Lviv, in 3 weeks, Danilov added.
He noted that the majority of Ukrainian partners were sure that there would be a guerrilla war in our country. After all, we allegedly will not be able to resist the “second army of the world.” Danilov added that the Russians are conducting military operations taking into account the situation, as far as our military gives them the opportunity to do so.
“It depends on our troops and on our resistance. The fact that they wanted to go on the offensive and wanted to quickly seize our territories, it was their big mistake,” the NSDC secretary stressed.
Hungary knew about Putin's plans
Earlier, Alexey Danilov said that Hungary knew in advance the plans of Vladimir Putin to start a full-scale war in Ukraine. He said that the country intended to take part of the territories for itself.
The Hungarian Embassy in Ukraine reacted to the statement of the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council. The department noted that Budapest is outraged and calls on Danilov to withdraw his “false” accusations.
According to the Hungarian embassy, these allegations contain false and unfounded accusations. They also incite hatred against the Hungarian people and Hungary in the war-torn Ukrainian society.
We strongly reject and condemn the false slanders against Hungary, as well as the intentions behind them. We also urge Mr. Danilov to withdraw his statements, the message says.
In addition, the Hungarian embassy said that they were waiting for clarification from the competent leaders of Ukraine. We are talking about the further formation of bilateral and good-neighbourly relations against the backdrop of what has been said.
