Social media reports UAV attack on oil refinery in Russia's Tver region

Social networks reported a drone attack on an oil refinery in Russia's Tver region Anastasia Bezeiko

Drones are attacking Russia again. On the night of January 27, enemy air defense “shot down” attack UAVs in the Tver region.

Russian media reported this, Channel 24 reports. They suggest an attack by a Lyuty aircraft-type drone on a local oil refinery.

What is known about the attack

Local residents write that around midnight they heard the characteristic sound of a UAV flying in the sky. Subsequently, the air defense allegedly worked, the target was shot down.

This was also reported by the Governor of the Tver Region Igor Rudenya. In addition, according to him, there were no injured citizens and no damage as a result of repelling the attack. Emergency services were working at the scene.

Recall that on the night of January 24, drones massively attacked the Ryazan Region of Russia. An oil refinery was hit, a fire broke out with multiple detonations. The Ryazan Oil Refinery is one of the largest in Russia, and belongs to the state corporation Rosneft.

The following night, on January 25, the Ukrainian Armed Forces and the Main Intelligence Directorate again attacked the Ryazan Oil Refinery, which supplies the Russian army.
