So far there is only one model for negotiations with Putin – Zelensky

President Vladimir Zelensky so far sees only one model of negotiations with the Russian Federation, which was previously used regarding the grain corridor.

He stated this in an interview with Trudy Rubin, a columnist for the American publication The Philadelphia, answering a question about whether there could be circumstances under which Ukraine would negotiate with Putin.

Zelensky named the only possible model of negotiations with the Russian Federation

— Ukraine can find a model in which, according to relevant documents, steps, modalities, solutions can be found. This model was applied for the first time using the example of the grain corridor, when Ukraine negotiated not with Russia, but with the UN and Turkey, — explained the head of state.

According to him, then they took upon themselves the responsibility to negotiate with Ukraine in a three-party agreement, and then signed the corresponding document with the Russian Federation.

— An appropriate model can also be used, when countries from different continents prepare a decision on a particular crisis, and then this document, if it suits Ukraine, should also be dealt with by representatives of the Russian Federation. So far we only have this model, — Zelensky summed up.

When Russia will come without Putin

The President of Ukraine is convinced that from 2025 the Russian economy will begin to decline, in particular due to sanctions, and Putin will have to raise taxes, which will inevitably lead to discontent among the Russian population.

— What is scary for him? The only thing — dissatisfied Russian society, which is a nuclear weapon against nuclear Putin. And we need to focus on this, not allow sanctions to be circumvented, raise Ukraine technologically and not be afraid of what will happen to Russia after Putin. As soon as the West stops being afraid of what will happen to the Russian Federation without Putin, Russia without Putin will attack fastert, — Zelensky summed up.
