Slovak hauliers will stage a symbolic hour-long blockade of the main border crossing with Ukraine on Thursday, November 16, to support calls from Poland to limit the number of Ukrainian trucks entering the EU.
The Guardian reports this.
The Union of Road Carriers of Slovakia (UNAS) announced on Facebook that the blockade will take place at the Wisne Nemecke point.

“Our goal is to support our Polish colleagues, as well as all freight carriers in the EU… We will demand that the European Commission… immediately introduce transport licenses for Ukrainian vehicles, because European companies cannot compete,” the message says.
Since November 6, a strike of Polish carriers has been ongoing on the Polish-Ukrainian border at the Krakovets-Korcheva, Yagodin-Dorogusk and Rawa-Russka-Hrebenne checkpoints.
Earlier, RMF FM, citing an official from the European Commission, reported that the European Commission may punish Warsaw if Poland does not resolve the issue of blocking checkpoints on the border with Ukraine.
