Russian attacks against civilians and civilian infrastructure cause humanitarian problems. In particular, many Ukrainians experience problems with access to drinking water.

Intense hostilities and shelling by the occupiers have damaged many water supply networks. Access to water has become a problem for millions of Ukrainians.

Ukrainians without water

According to UNICEF, 4.6 million Ukrainians right now have limited access to the water. With drinking water, the situation is even worse – 6 million of our citizens fight for it every day.

Water is one of the basic human needs, so the need to provide the population with water can have catastrophic consequences.
