As a result of Russia's full-scale invasion of the territory of Ukraine, the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) recorded 1,892 deaths and 2,558 injuries to the civilian population of Ukraine. The total number of victims is 4,550 people.

This information was reported in the daily summary of the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights.

Among those killed: 478 men, 308 women, 30 girls and 52 boys, and 71 child and 953 strong> adults, whose gender has not yet been determined.

Among the injured: 291human, 219 female, 51girl and 51 boy, and 144 child and 1802 strong> adults whose sex has not yet been established.

According to the UN, a large number of deaths due to injuries are caused by the use of ammunition and explosives with a large area of ​​destruction. Among the reasons for the victims of the war against Ukraine are shelling from heavy artillery and multiple launch rocket systems, as well as rocket and air strikes.

The UN noted that the actual numbers of victims are much higher, since it is now impossible to obtain information from the occupied territories or places where intense fighting continues. Many more reports are still pending confirmation.

Such cities include Mariupol and Volnovakha, raisins and the like, where there are reports of numerous civilian casualties. The figures provided from those territories are additionally confirmed, but are not yet included in the above statistics.
