Since January 1, 2025, Russian occupiers have deprived Ukrainians who have not received a Russian passport in the temporarily occupied territories of any rights. For example, people are now unable to obtain medication.

As reported by the Center for National Resistance, the privileged category of citizens in the temporarily occupied territories who received medications are now unable to do so.

Among them are people with cardiovascular diseases, as well as asthmatics and diabetics.

According to the Center for National Resistance, people in the occupied territories will have to buy medication if they do not have a Russian passport. However, it is almost impossible to obtain vital medications in the captured lands.

As noted by the Central Nervous System, if people with diseases are lucky enough to get the necessary medications, then the prices for them are set twice as high, and sometimes even three times higher than the market prices.
