President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky held a meeting of the Headquarters and instructed the government to immediately present a program to stimulate solar generation and energy storage in Ukraine.
He stated this following the 848th day of Russia's full-scale war against Ukraine.
He noted that there were reports from officials and heads of energy companies, military personnel and heads of the security sector at Headquarters.

— Of course, there were reports and instructions today at Headquarters on the security component, namely — protecting energy facilities from Russian strikes and sabotage. There is clear work on this too. I am grateful to everyone in the Defense Forces, in intelligence and the Security Forces who are protecting our infrastructure and preventing the occupier from weakening Ukraine, — added the president.
The president instructed the government to facilitate the installation of solar panels in schools, hospitals and other institutions and to develop loans for solar panels for Ukrainians.
— So that this would be an analogue of the 5-7-9 program, but 0% per annum for citizens, — Zelensky said in his evening address.
The second issue that was discussed at Headquarters — a clear plan for completing all protective structures for the energy sector.
— For each such facility — a clear deadline for completing the work. The performers at each level need to speed up, — he noted.
And the third, no less important question — installation of alternative energy sources at all critical infrastructure facilities and administrative buildings.
Zelensky noted that now all structures must work in a coordinated manner so that Ukraine enters the heating season prepared, at the level of each community.
