Russian microelectronics plant Silicon El in Bryansk, which produces, among other things, technologies for the Russian military machine, has stopped its work after the attack drones.
This is stated on the website of the production complex itself.
Kremniy El stopped work after the UAV attack
As they write on the company's website, as a result of Ukraine's successful attack on the plant's production and administrative buildings, the power supply was disrupted, damage was caused to special energy supply facilities, and technological production chains were interrupted.

— The main task today is to quickly resume production of electronic equipment in order to unconditionally fulfill plans. However, not everything depends on us – there are difficulties with purchasing spare parts to restore technological equipment and energy infrastructure; builders are conducting an examination of the possibility of restoring the destruction, — commented on the situation by the general director of the Sremniy El plant Oleg Dantsev.
Attack on Sremniy El in Bryansk
Recall that on the night of October 19, Ukrainian drones attacked the Sremniy El plant in Bryansk, after which a fire started at the production facility.
It is noteworthy that this is far from the first UAV attack on this complex. Strikes were previously carried out on it in June 2024, as well as in September 2023.
It should be noted that the large microelectronics manufacturer Sremniy El in Bryansk is one of the main production complexes of the Russian Federation, or rather, the second largest. The importance of the plant is also evidenced by the investments that the Russian government makes in production: $5.5 million annually, the Defence Express portal wrote.
The plant manufactures 90% of the needs of the Russian military machine. Including microelectronics for missile systems, for the Pantsir anti-aircraft missile systems, Iskander ballistic missiles, as well as for radars and electronic warfare, and Russian drones.
In general, the plant specializes in small electronics: transistors, diodes and other devices necessary for microcircuits in Russian military technologies.
